Kenny is a lovely looking dog. I heard nothing but good reports from people who walked him today.

I had Kenny out today. He is good on the lead once he settles, he is anxious to get going. Lots of energy, he barked away in his kennel until he got your attention. He is super affectionate, is happy to stop for a snuggle, tail wags non stop and he gives out licks freely. He is great with the other dogs big and small. Responsive to praise and direction. A super fella, he is light frame and no taller than knee height. I love his wirey coat, a very handsome chap.

Kenny came for a walk with me today. He just loves the frost in the field and he rolled and rolled his way around. This lovely little chap is very stressed in his kennel but absolutely great when out. He is great on the lead, good with other dogs and people – a little gem.

The man who had Kenny out today could not understand why someone would not fall madly in love with him and want to take him home. He was not in a position himself but I think if he was Kenny would be sorted.

:D Collie X terrier dogs are to be very highly recommended. I can say that with my hand on my heart. Our Cassie(dy) is a true diamond of a dog, a very real (and greatly treasured) find and I have no doubt (from reading Kenny’s blog) that he is also a little diamond. Whoever takes him home will be very lucky.

Kenny’s photos don’t do him any justice, he is a really handsome dog in the flesh. Only young too, I think his wirey coat might age him but not at all a really cute baby. Smart out.

Poor Kenny hasn’t been very well over the weekend, the vet came up yeaterday and today to treat him as he has gastroentritis, a tummy bug that dogs can get. He has been given meds but what this little boy really needs is a warm foster home he can recouperate in as he wont get better in the pound. PLEASE can anyone give this lovely boy a lifeline? He’s only approx 1-2 years old, great with other dogs and is very down in himself.

Could Kenny go into veterinary care now if we contribute to the cost? and then we can take him if he can be got to Belfast when well enough.

    Hi Calypso,

Thank you so much for offering Kenny a forever home. He is receiving veterinary treatment at the moment but he needs to recover in a foster home until he is well enough to travel. We are hoping someone will offer Kenny a short term foster. He really is a terrific little chap – we will have an update on his progress tomorrow.

    Thanks again Calypso.

If Kenny just has a tummy bug and nothing too serious, I would be happy to offer a warm foster home with 2 dogs to play with and one cat who might freak out a bit. I do need to update vaccinations on my elderly dog but can sort that out tomorrow.

First Elsie (Pixie) and now Kenny – ill. He really needs to be in a nice stress-free, warm environment as well as getting the appropriate veterinary treatment. I hope the foster offer works out. Then he would have half a chance of recovery. I hope he gets better and maybe will get a trip north. Was really pleased to see the message from Calypso. Happy vibes to you Kenny, get well very soon, handsome little dog.
