Hi – We are the lucky family who have adopted panda – renamed frankie! (after frank sinatra (ole blue eyes) as his eyes have a little fleck of blue!!!) – apologies for not having updated sooner as we have been in Wexford for the whole summer. Frankie is doing brilliantly within two weeks he was house trained and crate trained. The crate training has proved very successful. When we moved to wexford for the summer he had no problems in sleeping. We also went camping twice and with the crate in his tent he slept no problem! He is a very funny puppy who loves EVERYBODY! and everybody loves him. he simply adores other dogs and just wants to play with them all the time – even if they are not interested! He has such a lovely temperment and is soo funny when he plays – he could just play for hours!! His favourite game is chasing!! But after playing he just sleeps for ages!! He travels great in the car (in his crate) and is doing well on the lead does not pull and my 6 year old is able to walk him easily – still chewing the lead when walking sometimes – but not as much. He has gotten soo big !! just looking at photos of him the day we picked him up – he must be twice that size now!! he is turning into the most handsome dog !! Everybody remarks on how handsome he is!! (i might be a bit biased though!) Just wanted to say thank you to everybody at DID for letting us adopt frankie and special thanks to jane for giving him a great start – will try and post photos soon.
