MemberKathy….he had a great 1st night. he had a sniff around when he came in, even upstairs ! he played for a while, went 2 bed at 11.30pm. woke him 2 take him out at 12.30am. did a big pee and settled back 2 sleep. came down 2 him at 6.30am. he was fast asleep in bed
had used the newspaper during the night….so good. keeping back door open and he is in and out exploring. runs after us when we walk. not 2 interested in his food at the mo but hes drinking. thanks again 4 taking such good care of him. we will take such care of him too and already love him 2 bits.

MemberWe are delighted at how fast Diggy settled in. He was at the vet the other day who described him as a refined gentleman !! He is quiet for a puppy but not timed if that makes sense ! When I come down in the morning he wont go out for a pee til his belly has been rubbed ! He loves his crate and goes into it during the day when he wants to nap although he is rather partial to under the table too. One of my sons was 17 the other day and we had a house full of teenagers. Diggy took it all in his stride. He napped then went out to the party goers for rubs, then back to more napping !! The crowd didnt bother him at all. We are going on holidays in August and are looking forward to taking Diggy with us. He will have a 2 year old border collie for company. This collie loves swimming in the sea. i am a bit nervous of Diggy following her as she is still so small !!! If anyone has any comments or suggestions regarding this I would be delighted. Thats all for now. will post more photos soon.

MemberThanks a million for the update – he is getting so big! He looks so happy and obviously spoiled rotten
Maybe keep him on a long lead whilst in the water and you are confident he can manage
Enjoy your holidays

MemberWell Diggy had a great time on his holidays and loved my aunts collie as u can see. He did go swimming but only if i went with him !!! He visits the doggie park in Marley most days n loves it. He was playing with a little pup today named Ollie who is also a DID dog we discovered! They had great fun wrestling !! Can anyone tell me if its possible to over evercise a dog….we had been taking Diggy on 2 walks a day but have cut back to 1 as someone told us a dog should only have 5 mins exercise per month….is this true ???

MemberHi Janet, Jenny here…
I found Diggy easy enough in the end! Rossa said Diggy and Ollie had great fun yesterday, so I hope we’ll see you again!
And as for the over exercising thing, I had never heard of it, but find with Ollie (who has gotten so big but is still TINY) that he never tires no matter how much we walk him, but flakes out once we get him home, so sometimes I wonder if we do too much for his littleness…
