June 12, 2011 at 7:03 pm #105477SabbathmcMemberShe’s so beautiful..Greyhounds are such gentle creatures. I am yet to come across one that is bad tempered.
Thank God she’s saved… lets hope shes gets an amazing forever home soonJune 27, 2011 at 9:55 pm #99180IndiannaMemberWell pretty girl, how are you finding things in foster-care world?
July 18, 2011 at 2:31 pm #104752amber&rubyMemberLady is getting on great here! She has settled in so well. I have her offlead on walks now with my two and her recall is getting very good.
She loves hugs and cuddles and after her walk she likes to snooze with her foster sisters.
She is a bit greedy with food and has to be watched in the kitchen. She isn’t mad on cats and a home she was supposed to go to unfortunately fell through because of this To be honest we were happy to have her stay!!
She does need her own forever home though, preferably with another dog.July 25, 2011 at 7:12 pm #105843KeemaMemberLady Bojangles is beautiful.
I’m not sure where she is based but if you are anywhere near Dublin Amber+Ruby maybe you’d like to bring her along to a ‘Sighthound Stroll’? I set up Sighthound Strolls this year to give sighthound owners a chance to get together for walks and at the same time promote sighthounds as pets.
A large group of sighthounds together attract lots of attention and we had a lady at Sunday’s walk wanting to adopt one of our dogs (who already had a home!) I will be ordering a jacket with ‘I Need a Home’ on it for any rescue dogs who come along to wear which should attract some attention. Also, some of our walkers are often in the process of looking for a new sighthound so who knows who might fall in love with Lady B.
If you would like to post about her on our new forum http://www.sighthound-strolls.proboards.com/ feel free and don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like further information on the walks at sighthoundstrolls@gmail.com
August 21, 2011 at 3:13 pm #91742buzzsmomMemberJust popped in to the site , I have been really busy and have not had the time to participate fully but I pop in every now and again and I just cant believe this gorgeous girl is still here. Just look at the tenderness and gentleness in those eyes. If I had the ability she would be here with me but sadly my first man, Buzz, is not up for sharing with any more than one. Could we see another picture of this gorgeous girl? I vote for this lady to be next dog of the month.Low maintenance , gentle, elegant what more could anyone want?

September 13, 2011 at 9:56 am #106382rescuedracersMemberHi there, my name is Sam and I am the Founder and Chairman of Rescued Racers [url:mp8lrzss]http://www.rescuedracers.org[/url:mp8lrzss]
I was wondering if this pretty girl had got a home yet as there is a chance we may have a greyt home waiting here in Wales.Just a couple of questions, is she tattooed, has she been spayed and is she vaccinated, what way do you work with regards to transport to the UK?
As a Charity we try and take as many Irish greyhounds as possible and have several contacts such as Vicky at Cork DAWG, Victoria at Erin Hounds and Ann in Dundalk Animal Rescue, the dogs are then sent via Donal Croke and we collect from him.
I’d be grateful if you could may be get back to me.
Many thanks
Sam
