Have secure housing suitable for the chosen dog
Agree to a home visit before adoption
Accept full responsibility for the dog once adopted
Adopters agree that if they can no longer care for their dog, the dog must be returned to Dogs in Distress.
All donations made to Dogs in Distress go directly toward the care and rehoming of dogs.
As a registered charity, donations are generally non-refundable.
However, if a donation was made in error (for example, duplicated or incorrect amount), please contact us at donations@dogsindistress.org within 14 days, and we will review your request.
We do not store or process payment card details directly — all transactions are securely handled through our third-party payment processors.
All content, images, graphics, videos, text, and logos on this site are the property of Dogs in Distress or are used with permission.
