Dogs in Distress aims to match every dog with the best possible home. Our adoption process ensures each dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

You must be over 21 years old to adopt. The head of the household must sign the adoption papers and take full responsibility for the dog.
A minimum fence height of 5.5ft is required for safety. Please check your garden before completing the application.
One of our friendly volunteers will chat with you and ensure your home is a safe, happy space for your new dog. We always focus on finding the best match for both you and the dog.
A minimum donation of €300 helps cover veterinary and care costs. All dogs are microchipped, neutered/spayed*, wormed, and vaccinated.
