We received the lovely Bonnie on Tuesday morning and by Tuesday afternoon she was getting on famously with our dog Jasper and totally at ease with herself. She is a beautiful girl with striking markings. She is no problem whatsoever around the house, doesn't jump on any furniture and doesn't bark in the house and just the odd time in the garden to say hello to the two dogs who live next door. She is fully house trained and eats and sleeps no problem. She loves her playtime but gentle in her play, no nipping or biting, some jumping up but nothing that can't be addressed. She would integrate immediately into any home with or without another dog, but she enjoys Jasper's company and loves his and our interaction with her. She would need some lead training but she is very clever and would learn very quickly and jumps into the boot of our car readily on the way to the park. We haven't let her off the lead unless in a secure area as she does get distracted so again a little training there is needed. She is the first dog we have ever come across who is not afraid of the hoover and who sticks her head in the shower while you are in it - she is just a great character! Although we have enjoyed her company for only two days now, it is very clear that she has a lovely disposition and would integrate very well very quickly.

Bonnie is doing really well with us and is a great house dog. She is getting on great with Jasper and he is great with her. We have let her off her lead in the park when there are no distractions and she enjoys retrieving her ball and brings it back to you dropping it your feet for it to be thrown again. However, she does get distracted when other people/dogs around and would need training in this area but she is a very clever little lady. We have also left her on her own with Jasper in the conservatory for a couple of hours, and it has not been a problem at all. When we come back all is in order and she happily greets us home. She really is a sweet little dog and sleeps downstairs in the living room at night time with no issue. She loves playtime and her puppy tendancies are very gentle no nipping or biting. There have been no accidents in the house whatsoever since she arrived and she lets us know when she wants to go outside with a gentle little sigh and sits at the door. She would make a great addition to any home.

Bonnie is thriving in foster. Have a look at her here in this video. She is great with other dogs and will need a doggie pal in her forever home :)
