Little Robin has been with us two weeks now. He’s such a sweet and affectionate little guy. He is however quite nervous of new people and new dogs. He got microchipped and vaccinated last week and the vet believes his nervousness is is partly down to a lack of socialization. So we’re currently working on getting Robin to meet lots of new people and dogs and he is doing great.
Robin is very well behaved around the house. He is definitely the best behaved pup we’ve fostered. He adores our dog Liv and they spend a lot of time playing in the garden. Robin doesn’t have half as much energy as her though and after awhile he passes out on couch
Sleeping on my lap is Robin’s favourite thing to do, he absolutely adores cuddling up beside people.
Robin is a medium energy dog, he’s happy with a daily 30 minute walk and playing throughout the day with Liv. I get the impression Robin hasn’t been on a lead much as he’s still getting used to being walked. He pulls and bites the lead a bit but he’s only small so he’s not hard to manage. His recall is really good. We’ve let him off the lead a few times in our local park with Liv. He mainly follows her and comes back when I call him.
Robin would best suit a quiet home with another dog.
