Max is a fabulous boy who is settling in to foster with Lisa :D

He is good on the lead but is a strong boy so will. Red some lead training. He is great in the car and gets on great with other dogs

Max walks great on a harness and is so friendly with every dog he meets. He is a little unfit at the moment so is happy with a slow half hour walk and then coming home for a nap  he loves being out though, his tail doesn’t stop wagging :D

Max has been with us just over a week now and he is such a gorgeous dog. He is really friendly and affectionate and he just loves being with people.
He is great with other dogs and would love a home with a doggie friend for company. He gets on better with female dogs and would be suited more to a home with a dog that isn’t too hyper.
He is great with all people including kids but will need an adult home or home with older kids. When he gets excited he jumps a bit and might knock small kids over. He’s an older boy so also prefers a quiet life so for that reason it would be best for him not to be homed will small kids.
Like a lot of Labs he loves his food and puts on weight easily. He’d need someone that was committed to walking him and keeping him on good quality food. He loves his walks and is already losing weight as his harness is now loser on. We’ve been bringing him on two 20-30 min walks a day and he just loves getting out and meeting new people and dogs. He’s also quite good on the lead, just the odd bit of pulling.
He’s so well behaved around the house. He’s fully house trained and doesn’t chew things. He’s really good when left alone for a few hours.
He adores company so would need a home where he’s not left on his on his own too long.
Max is just the sweetest boy who will make the perfect pet for the right family.

The first pic is the first day we took Max and the second pic is today. In just two weeks he’s lost some weight and is definitely fitter. This is simply down to being changed onto good quality food and lots of walks and playtime with his foster sister :)
