The handsome Bruno arrived with us yesterday. A lively dog, full of fun and energy, and a very quick learner.
He is strong on the lead, but much better on a halti.
He was good during his first night. Not a peep out of him and no accidents.
He loves playing with a ball, and loves cuddles. He has a fantastic happy face!

Some outdoor pictures. Lovely temperament with other dogs. Very enthusiastic saying hello! Needs work on the recall, but does come back. Bruno is a strong runner and potentially can “just follow his nose” like a hunting dog can do. We are working on patience when putting on the lead and taking it off, but have discovered that he travels well in the car. Not a bother on him!

Bruno has been with us a few days now and he’s been a lovable rogue so far. He loves to play and can get a bit excited and boisterous. Bruno loves coming in the car, and has discovered that our car goes to nice places like the beach and the forest. We are managing well with a long training lead, allowing Bruno to have a good gallop, whilst controlling a potential break away. As mentioned before, the recall indoors is good, but requires training outdoors.
We can now wait in our basket until dinner is over, sit on command, we can give a paw (it’s a bit more like a slap right now, but we praise the efforts anyway! ) :D and we are getting much much better at waiting patiently until halti and lead are in place. Not bad for just a few days!
Bruno LOVES rough and tumble, but also really adores belly rubs. He’s delighted when you come home, stays close by when you leave the front door open en comes back in when called. Bruno has learned quickly that his older foster brother (DID 2010) does not like to be jumped on and now gives a lovely gentle nudge when he wants to play. He’s a very lovable fella and would suit an active family. He’s good with kids, don’t know about cats yet.

One week in foster with us!
This boy is just awesome! He's very clever and learns extremely quickly. We are able to walk him off the lead through the fields and he stays within view most of the time, other than having to check out some overgrown bush. He is very alert, but does not bark much. He comes back when called and is superb around the house. He will walk with you when you empty the car, but does not run off.
He is a high energy dog though and will need very regular walking, ideally off lead, to let him run off steam. In return, he will lie at your feet and do as he is told. He's very curious about anything and loves to be included, but also gets it quickly when his company is a bit much, such as when you are setting the table or unpack the dishwasher. He also learns really quickly how to play with other dogs.
We discovered that he can scale a 5 ft fence, so it is important that he is watched, or has higher fences!
Bruno loves food and will check out the kitchen counter every so often when he thinks he is not being watched. All in all, he is the lovable rogue we mentioned before.

This great boy keeps on giving! A great learner, very eager to please. He was microchipped today and was very kind to the vet. Not a bother on him.
Bruno is great indoors, and loves to play. He'll ask for it, but also quite comfortably will be beside you on the ground whilst you go about your own business. He just wants to be in your company.
He adores the outdoors, and although he can roam a little further than we'd like, he comes back and is happy to do so.
He travels very well in the car, is great with other dogs and great with children. The pulling on the lead is more or less limited to the initial going out, but once he has had a run, the pulling is significantly less. We keep working on this.
This dog deserves a loving home, he's fantastic company.
