I call animals "guardians of Being," especially animals that live with humans. Because, for many humans, it's through their contact with animals they get in touch with that level of being. Eckhart Tolle

Buster approx 10yrs is a calm and mellow Yorkie. He loves a comfortable bed by the fireplace and a long belly rub. He arrived to us underweight, was not neutered, his nails were very long and his teeth rotten. Although he's not properly potty trained he is a really quick learner and has made great improvements in a short amount of time. Not being neutered he does mark everything when in a new place. He plays really well with other dogs and loves children. Buster has not shown any signs of aggression and has in fact shown incredible passiveness and patience with his attention loving, hyper 7yr old son Buddy who we believe is a Chihuahua mix. Buster has kindness in his eyes, love in his heart and would fit into most any home, however we feel a quiet home with no other dogs would suit him best so he can get the peace he deserves for his remaining years.

Buddy is what we believe to be a 7yr old Yorkie Chihuahua mix who was severely underweight when abandoned with his dad, Buster. Like Buster because he was not neutered or potty trained he marks everything in new environments and goes toilet inside. However Buddy is a really smart dog, is catching on quickly and would easily be trained. He’d be best in a home with no other animals or any small children- he gets jealous when any attention is shown to anyone but him. He loves cuddles and at times can’t seem to get close enough as he crawls up your chest and under your chin. He’s got lots of love to give and is looking for and deserves lots of love in return.

I have had the pleasure of looking after these two gentlemen (in the true meaning of the word "gentle" <3) for a day whilst their foster Mom & Dad were at a wedding and have also transported them to their veterinary appointments. Buster (Daddy dog) is a soft, gentle, quiet boy who adores cuddles and just potters along happily enjoying the creature comforts he never had previously. Buddy (Son) is also gentle and is a character in the best possible way! They both get along famously with other dogs and my 5 cats too. They are now nearly 100% toilet trained which was relatively easy as they are so eager to please their foster Mom.

Both dogs needed a lot of surgical intervention due to their ROTTEN teeth and are on antibiotics for another week due to the severity of their infections. Buddy (who is teeny) had teeth so rotten that they were terribly infected and the infection had eaten through his nasal cavity. The fact that he still wagged his tail constantly whilst he was suffering with this for so long is a testament to his wonderful temperament.

Given half a chance, these boys will light up your life!
