Solly has been with us just over 7 weeks now I think and he is doing brill!
He has all the basics down! He answers to his new name now, Sol or Solly which sometimes gets his attention better!
He is a star on the lead, he is so good and just trots beside us when hes on and off lead too. He really doesn't venture far at all when off lead and swiftly comes back no hesitation with a quick whistle ( he could SERIOUSLY teach sheebs a few things

)
Hes grand in the car whimpers a bit out of excitement when the car slows down or is just taking off but once we pick up speed he relaxes!
Still gets excited about food but once you tell him to sit and stay he'll wait patiently however will drool like a tap out of protest at being made wait

And he now takes food nice a gently from our hands!
He does not like water at all

likes to drink it and spread it all around the kitchen floor but is not so keen on swimming, He will paddle his toes alright but if a wave or a splash comes his way hes outa there! He sometimes avoids walking through puddles too

poor pet nearly knock himself out after he slipped on a rock on the beach which was covered in sea weed while avoiding stepping over a 4 inch stream!
He loves a good cuddle much like a cat he will wind himself around you rubbing and arching his back its very funny! Wont jump on the furniture either and prefers to lie on the floor stretched out nice and in the way of usually!
He has an amazing temperament and is so gently when using his mouth and will drop what ever he has if you ask or when playing with toys. He knows how to play fetch too and will drop the ball near enough to your feet
His weight is slowly coming on him, he had an upset tummy a few weeks back which set him back a bit but id say he is around 29 30 kilos now. Other people say they can see a difference in him which is good and in fairness there is definitely a little tiny layer off fat over his ribs but he sort of still looks the same to me!
