Joy's with us since the 1st of April 2016. It was 2 weeks to the day we had lost our beautiful Dabs. It was a Friday afternoon, rainy, and I woke up from a nap to see posted that this little one needed bed and breakfast. Strangely, I didn't give it much thought, I knew I was going to collect her and mind her. Of course, having met her, I named her Joy - after all that's what she brought after a very sad time of grief.
Joy is a well known hugger in the locality. I like this photo, this is where Joy perches, on the back of the comfy seat for a snooze and convenient to the window. When I'm there too it's perfect to lay her head on my shoulder.

I call animals "guardians of Being," especially animals that live with humans. Because, for many humans, it's through their contact with animals they get in touch with that level of being. Eckhart Tolle
