Ben is feeling very sorry for himself today after his visit to the vet. He is so unsettled and out of sorts but I'm sure by tomorrow he will be a lot brighter. He is such a beautiful and gentle boy and we hate seeing him upset. On the plus side we have found a new use for our plant pot

Just an update on Ben.

Ben is continuing to do well. He is still afraid of the wind and rain but at least is willing to go out in the garden in the rain on his own if he needs to which is great because I no longer have to go out in the rain with him every time he needs to pee :) He might take a while longer to get used to the windy weather. He started his tablets for his heart this week and we are hoping that they will give him an improved quality of life. He is only 6 and should be enjoying running around but can only manage a short burst of energy before he flops down again. He is happy though and he doesn't know what he should be able to do for his age. He likes to play with his toy as you can see in the video although again he just takes it easy

It might take months or even longer for Ben to get over his insecurities and to show his full potential but we are in no hurry he can take as long as he needs. We all love Ben and he is very much a part of our family.

Ben is doing great. We got really good news from his most recent set of blood test results and it looks like the tablets are working for him which is great :) :) He should be able to run around and have fun without being really sick afterwards, which is what happened to him every time he tried to play. He seemed delighted with himself as he played in St Anne's park on Monday with his older sister Sparky. They get on really well together. I think he looks up to her..... well down really, cause she's a lot smaller than he is but he idolizes her and follows her everywhere which is cute. He loves the sound of his own bark, he seems to want to hear it all the time :) He is getting better at managing the stairs now, although he is a bit clumsy to say the least... but he is only learning and looking at how much he has come on he will be charging up and down them soon. His personality is really showing through now too which is great. He is really affectionate and loves to snuggle up for a cuddle. You can see that in the pictures below. He wasn't being left out of the afternoon nap on the sofa: when he saw my son asleep, he hopped up and made himself comfy..... I think the paw says it all don't you :)

Love the up-dates on this boy, the images are just wonderful, seeing him so content and loving his 'pack'. I am currently surrounded by my pack, showing total loyalty - to the toast I have
