Nidge came to us on Thursday evening after being Neutered. After a bit of a grouchy start which was totally understandable he has now settled in and seems a lot happier. Took him out for a long walk around the park this morning and let him chase and retrieve the tennis ball which is does really well. He is good on the lead and doesn't really pull which as great as he is a big strong lad.

Nidge had a trip to the vet today for his vaccination and a good check up. He is on anti-biotics for skin irritation but should all be sorted soon. He is absolutely brilliant in the car....and even after we got home he jumped back in and didn't want to get out...suspect he wanted to go back to the Phoenix Park...

On Sunday, we took Nidge over to The Wonderful Barn between Leixlip and Celbridge. He had a great time exploring as you will see from his video below:

Nidge is with us a week and a half now and he would be best suited to a family with older children. He would be happy as the only dog in the house and is just loves to chill out by your feet when sitting on the couch in the evening. He is great in the car and very good on the lead. In the park he is happy to chase and retrieve a ball for as long as you have the energy to throw it for him. :D

Nidge is a typical Spaniel - a muck magnet. He loves to help with the weeding in the garden....great at digging them up for us....thankfully he leaves the plants alone :)
